Mermaid in Manarola: original painting

A young mermaid is becoming human. She was hurled outside the water during a storm, and now she is looking at her herself, worried while holding tightly to the rocks. In the background, there is the small coastal village of Manarola and a blue wavy sea, with stormy clouds in the sky.

I painted it with wonderful quality gouache paint (Talens Extrafine for artists) on canvas panel, 30 x 40 cm. (11.8 x 15.7 in) 3mm thick.
The white pigment shows its brilliance all over the final artwork.
