Dog in the woods: gouache painting on paper

This painting was inspired by the walks in the woods that I do together with my dog. She is exuberant, always running. She feels very at ease in the wild, while not so much erranding in town! The scene is set on a windy autumn day.

I painted it with superb quality gouache paint (Talens Extrafine for artists), sometimes diluted as it was watercolor, on Fabriano watercolor 300 gsm paper, 100% cotton. 33 x 25,5 cm. There are some touches of colored pencils.
The white pigment shows its brilliance all over the final artwork.
